Biography of Robert A. Watt
Robert A. Watt, born August 7, 1866, in Belmont County, Ohio, has been a prominent figure in Edna, Kansas, where he has lived for about forty-five years. The son of John T. Watt, a farmer and early settler, Robert spent his early years on the family farm before pursuing various occupations, including a lengthy stint in the restaurant business. Appointed postmaster in 1913, he remains an active community member, aligned with the Democratic Party and several local organizations. He is married to Emma J. Graham, with whom he has one daughter, Helen.
