Biography of Ephraim Cutler

Ephraim Cutler, born April 12, 1767, in Massachusetts, was a significant figure in the early development of Athens County, Ohio. The son of Dr. Manasseh Cutler, he became known as Judge Cutler after his relocation to Ohio in 1795, where he played a key role in the Ohio Company and local governance.
