Biography of Hon. James G. Watts
James G. Watts, born in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania, on July 23, 1858, is a prominent attorney and state senator in Idaho. Following his education at Mansfield Normal School and the Union College of Law, he began practicing law in Nebraska before moving to Idaho City and eventually Silver City. An active member of the Democratic Party, Watts has served two terms in the state senate and is currently the chairman of the code commission.
