Champ, Charles Darwin – Obituary

Charles Champ, known as Big Charlie, passed away at the age of 36 after experiencing heart trouble, collapsing at the cookhouse of Camp 10, Humptulips Logging Company, following the evening meal. He had spent the last decade working in the logging industry in the Harbor area, having relocated from Winlock. Champ is survived by his mother, siblings in Winlock, a nephew in Hoquiam, and an uncle in Aberdeen. His body is at local parlors while funeral arrangements are made for burial in Winlock Cemetery.
