Newton, Laura Kirk Mrs. – Obituary
Laura Newton, 95, of Baker City, passed away on May 30, 2002, at St. Elizabeth Health Care Center. Her funeral will take place at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Grays West Co., with interment at Mount Hope Cemetery. Born on September 26, 1906, in Missouri, she married Henry Newton in 1929. A member of Calvary Baptist Church, Laura enjoyed gardening and spending time with family. She is survived by two nieces and their children, having been preceded in death by her husband and several relatives.
