Budd, Thursa Gifford – Obituary
Thursa E. Gifford Budd passed away on October 27, 1911, due to heart issues linked to a prior stroke. Born in Devon, England, 66 years prior, she immigrated to America as a child. Married to Thomas Budd in 1865, they settled in Sanilac County before moving to Caro. Together, they had eleven children, of whom six survive. Her funeral took place at their home in Caro, led by Rev. S. C. Robinson, with burial at Caro Cemetery.
