David Jamieson, hailing from an esteemed Scottish lineage, lived in Dunfermline, Scotland. He married Anne Stuart, a cousin of Prince Charles from the royal Stuart family. Together, they had eight children: David, Daniel, Christine (twice), Annie, Francis, and William (twice), all born in Dunfermline between 1802 and 1815.
David Jamieson (1800-1886), son of David Jamieson (1), was born in Dunfermline, Scotland. He married Margaret Muir on March 17, 1828, in Collinton, Scotland. They immigrated to America in 1834, initially settling in New York City before moving to Toronto and later Yorkville, Canada. Margaret passed away in March 1870. Together, they had several children: David, Jane (who was born in New York City and died in Barrie, Canada), Daniel, Francis, John, and James.
