Legg, Mabel Clare Bowman – Obituary
Mrs. Clare Bowman Legg, born April 23, 1883, in Haddam, Kansas, passed away on January 25, 1967, at the age of 83 in Shattuck, Oklahoma. After moving to Oklahoma as a teenager, she married Horace Legg in 1906. A devoted Christian, she was a long-time member of the Bethel Baptist Church and later the First Baptist Church of Gage. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, four brothers, and two sisters, leaving behind two sisters and many relatives and friends.
