David G. Parker, D.D.S., born in Alabama in 1850, is a distinguished dentist in Riverside, California. His parents were of diverse origins, with roots in Massachusetts and Germany. After moving to Mississippi, Parker pursued education and telegraphy before turning to dentistry. He graduated from Indiana Dental College in 1882 and initially practiced in Louisiana. Seeking better health, he relocated to Riverside in 1888, where he quickly established a reputable practice. Married to Lulu D. Blackshear, the couple has three children and is building a home in Riverside.
