Robert B. “Bob” Andrews, 79, of Prineville, a former Baker City resident, died Jan. 20, 2008, at Pioneer Memorial Hospital in Prineville. At his request there will be no public service. Bob was born at Pompeii, Mich., on July 6, 1928, to Paul Phillip and Beulah Beatrice Watkins Andrews. He attended and was a graduate of Ithaca Michigan High School. He moved to Enumclaw, Wash., in the early 1950s. He owned and operated a farm in Baker City in 1958. Carlotta Kay Roecker, 59, of Prineville, a former longtime Baker City resident, died Aug. 13, 2006, at St. Charles Medical Center, in Bend. Her memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the First Church of the Nazarene in Prineville. Pastor Warren Powell will officiate. Carlotta was born at Vancouver, Wash., on April 9, 1947, to Edward and LaDonna Jones Benshoof. She attended and graduated from Marshfield High School. Danny Gullett, 61, of Prineville died Sept. 7, 2006, at his home. His graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Eagle Valley Cemetery in Richland. Danny Dale was born on March 13, 1945, at Prairie City to Maurice E. and Wilma M. Holland Gullett. He was raised at New Bridge and Richland and was a 1963 graduate of Eagle Valley High School at Richland. He married Jeannie Greener on May 28, 1966, at Halfway. Glenn was born in Baker City, on June 18, 1934, to Luther A. and Ora Lee Ellis Spivey. He attended Baker High School and was a member of the first graduating class at the new high school in 1952. Virgil Elwood Stace, 81, of Prineville, a former Baker City resident, died June 19, 2006, at Bend. His funeral was Thursday at Prineville Funeral Home. Interment was at Juniper Haven Cemetery. The Rev. Craig Smart officiated. Virgil was born on June 1, 1925, at Wallowa to Delbert and Cora Shoemaker Stace. When Virgil was in the third grade, the family moved to Baker City, where he attended schools. He was a 1944 Baker High School graduate.
