They are the parents of: Mabel Clair, born March 14, 1904 and Minnie Carmel Sortore, born September 4, 1907. Mr. and Mrs. Sortore are members of the Christian Church and are farmers, near Claremore. Mr. Sortore who is by profession an engineer is a member of the Woodmen of the World fraternity.

Company of Muskogee, was born March 12; 1884, in Knobnoster, Missouri, a son of Charles B. and Theodosia (Webb) Littlefield, who were at one time residents of Kentucky and afterward established their home in Johnson county, Missouri. The father engaged in banking in Missouri for thirty years and in 1906 came to the Indian Territory, settling at Claremore. Assigned to the Nineteenth Division, 358th Infantry as teamster. Sailed for France June 20, 1918, was in the offensive operations at St. Mihiel and Argonne Forest and after the Armistice was with the Army of Occupation, returned to the United States in June 1919 and was discharged at Camp Paike on the twenty-second of that month.
