Biographical Sketch of George C. Lang

George C. Lang, born on September 27, 1870, in Dunkirk, New York, was the son of John A. and Theresa Fischer Lang. He married Emma M. Stocker from Cleveland and initially lived on a farm. Lang attended German-Wallace College before entering the coal and stone business in Chicago Junction, Ohio. He later worked in the ice and coal business in Dunkirk. In 1897, he established a furniture and undertaking business in Cleveland, while also serving in various community roles.
