Thomas Budd, a veteran of the Civil War, died in his home on West Gambe Street, Caro, Monday, October 7, of dropsy, after almost one year of suffering. He was born in England, August 14, 1840, and was a farmer all his life coming to this county from Sanilac in 1900. He was a member of the G.A.R. and M.E. Church.
