He was born in Ellensburg on Dec. 31, 1954, the only son of Marvin and Kathryn Wyatt of Ellensburg. He graduated from Ellensburg High School in 1973 and from Central Washington University in 1977 with a degree in education. Mr. Wyatt taught and coached for one year at Tonasket High School.
