Killingsworth, Dale B. – Obituary

Dale B. Killingsworth, aged 51, died on January 5, 2005, from a car accident on Highway 97. Born December 31, 1953, in Colfax, Washington, he graduated from Wheeler High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in agricultural engineering at Oregon State University. He moved to Madras in 1978, where he worked as a sawyer and welder for Keith Manufacturing. Dale was active in community organizations, including the Jefferson County Farm Bureau and 4-H. He is survived by his wife, Mickey, and numerous family members.

Mobley, Floyd William – Obituary

Floyd William Mobley, 99, of Baker City, Oregon, passed away on June 12, 2003. A graveside service is scheduled for June 17 at Mount Hope Cemetery, followed by a potluck picnic at Geiser Pollman Park. Born on April 21, 1904, in Booneville, Arkansas, Floyd moved west as a child, ultimately becoming a logger in Oregon and Washington. He was married to Dorothy Totman Wilson and had six children. Floyd is remembered for his love of nature, poetry, and music.
