Herman B. Sass, 95, died July 2, 2008, at his home at Settler’s Park Assisted Living. His graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Eagle Valley Cemetery in Richland. Herman Bernhardt was born on Aug. 7, 1912, at Baker City to Peter and Katherine Nave Sass. He was raised in Eagle Valley and graduated from Eagle Valley High School at Richland.
