Alan Endre Anderson, 83, of Eugene, passed away on March 29, 2009. Born on November 21, 1925, in Alpine, Washington, he graduated from Enumclaw High School in 1944 and served as a sergeant in the Army during World War II. He married Judith Mann in 1957 and worked as an insurance secretary and later as a maintenance worker for the Oregon Department of Transportation. He is survived by his wife, three children, a brother, a sister, and six grandchildren.
