Albion Illinois

Albion, Edwards County, Illinois, is a historically significant small city in southern Illinois that was laid out in 1818 as part of the English Prairie settlement by English immigrants Morris Birkbeck and George Flower, who encouraged settlers from England to join them and establish a community with agricultural and social aspirations distinct from the surrounding frontier.
