Joseph, Wallowa County, Oregon Mrs. Wesley Duncan passed away at the family home in Joseph last Thursday morning, March 8. She had been confined to her bed for 15 months, following an attack of flue and had been a patient sufferer. The funeral was held Friday in the Methodist church at Joseph and the sermon was delivered by Rev. H.L. Ford, pastor of the Christian church at Enterprise. Joseph. Wallowa County, Oregon Oron L. Dunbar, who lived in Joseph several years ago, died last Sunday, Oct. 27, at Oregon City, of Influenza. He had lived in California until the first of the year when he went to Oregon City, where he was manager of a store. He was born 48 years ago in Fairview and for a time was manager of the McCully Mercantile company store in Joseph. Lostine, Oregon Dorothy Irene Dulin died Feb. 20, 2008. She was born Jan. 13, 1918 in Spokane, Wash. to Olla Lee Gooch and John Fredrick Bachman. Dorothy grew up in Vancouver, Wash. and was the youngest of five siblings. She graduated high school and worked in a cannery before moving to southern California, where she spent the next 64 years of her life. There, she met John W Dulin, a young man from Springfield Mo. Flora, Oregon Jack Randall Duggan, 81, of Flora died March 28, 2008. After he returned from serving in the U.S. Army during WWII, he married Nadine. From that marriage there are three children: Sandra Tucker (Irvin), Kathleen Bush (Jim) and Chris Duggan (Koni Murrill). In 1990, he married Karen, who survives him, as well as his three children; two step-children, Tom Miller and Kelly Kinney; sister Ruth Gioux; five grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
