Elmer D. Bryson, 605 Boyer, died Saturday afternoon at a local nursing home. H was 59 years old and was a resident of this region for 40 years. Bryson was a woolgrower and for 25 years, secretary of the Wenaha Wood Growers association. He graduated from the Weston normal school and the Portland Business college. He had been in the wool business 31 years and was born December 1, 1881 near Weston. Charlotte May Bryson, 95, of 605 Bryant St., died Saturday at Park Manor Nursing Home. She was born in Waubeek, Iowa, on July 16, 1880, and came west with her parents and family by train to Cove, Ore., in 1886. She attended Ascention School in Cove and later taught school for several terms in Eastern Oregon. Mrs. Marie Brunn, the wife of Dr. C. Brunn, died at her home, 3124 South Seventh Street, early Sunday morning [June 3]. Mrs. Brunn has suffered from asthma for a number of years, and about two months ago the disease developed alarmingly, causing her death yesterday. Funeral services have been held for Harry A. Bronson, 79, retired oil distributor and a San Jose resident since 1925, who died of a heart attack last week [February 9, 1977] at his home, 1075 Lincoln Court. Sunday morning at nine o’clock in this city was held the funeral of Miss Lessie Brightwell, the beloved young woman who died a few days since at the home of her father, Mr. J. W. Brightwell, after a long illness with typhoid fever. The services were full of solemnity and pathos and were conducted by Rev. W. A. Chastain, pastor of the Christian church.
