We invite you to take a walk with us!!
After Toy provided us with the photos of the Creek Memorial, Dennis and I remembered we had taken this same walk a few years ago. This site is so beautiful and peaceful, if you are ever in Russell County, Alabama, near Fort Mitchell, you should really take the time and visit. The site is located on top of a hill, but it is a gentle walk with areas to stop and rest. With the heat and humidity in Alabama, I would plan to visit in the spring!!
The Chattahoochee Indian Heritage Center is located nearby.
Location: About eight miles south of Phenix City, Alabama along State Highway 165, 6 miles south of US 431.
We thank Toy for providing these photos for our readers enjoyment, we hope you enjoyed your walk and will come back again.
