Funeral services for Wayne B. McQueen, 74 years old, a retired truck driver and Army veteran of World War I, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Bible Church, 3745 East Pleasant Run East Parkway. Entombment will be in Washington Park East Mausoleum. A native of Columbus, Ind. and resident here 45 years, Mr. McQueen died Friday [October 18, 1968] in his home at 2601 North Butler Avenue. Green Lee Phillippe was born April 11, 1849, in Bartholomew County, Indiana, and died at his home south of town on September 4, 1912, aged 63 years, 4 months and 23 days. Fred Wippel, 72, a Kittitas Valley resident since 1901, died Monday [December 9, 1940] from a heart ailment. Fred Wippel was born in Sunman, Indiana in 1868, and spent his early years in that state. Ira M. Coy, 90 years old, 402 Keeley Street died at his home at 8:30 p.m., Wednesday [September 9, 1964]. He had been an Edinburg rural mail carrier for 34 years having retired in 1939. Mode [Moses] D. Compton, fifty-nine years old, well known in this county and city, was found dead in bed early Saturday morning [July 19, 1919] by his wife, who had gone to awaken him at his home one mile east of Edinburg, in Johnson County.
