Will of Isaac Bedloe – 1675

“Whereas ISAAC BEDLOE of this city, merchant, died intestate in or about the month of February, 1672/3. Who having been intrusted with great sums of money, and considerable quantities of goods by the late Governor, Colonel Francis Lovelace, as his factor; he was thereby involved in many and great accounts, And his widow Elizabeth Bedloe having been sued by some of the creditors.” Upon her application she is appointed administratrix, August 9, 1675.
