Charlotte Gail Jensen, 69, of Elgin, died July 30 at her home. At her request there will be no public services. Daniels-Knopp Funeral, Cremation & Life Celebration Center is in charge of arrangements. Those who wish may sign the online guest book at www.danielsknopp.com.
Charlotte was born Sept. 21, 1938, to Harold and Carol (Mattix) Pointer in Baker. After high school, she married Larry Jensen and they lived in Madras for many years and later in Utah. They returned to Oregon and he preceded her in death.
Charlotte moved to Elgin to be near family. She was a member of the Elgin Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Eagles Auxiliary. She enjoyed making blankets for all her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, James Patrick of Elgin, Debbie Barney of Utah, Carol Patrick of Clovis, N.M., Gene Patrick of Madras, Bobby Balfur of Newport, Edward Balfur of Minnesota and Mert Balfur of Utah; four grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several siblings; and other relatives.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
