Ruth Eleanor Daniels Cronin died Sept. 18, 2005, at the hospice in Kennewick, Wash. She was 98 years old.
Mrs. Cronin was born Dec. 2, 1906 in Raton, New Mexico Territory to William A. Daniels and Caroline Gellermann Daniels. She attended high school in Enterprise.
In 1926 she married Walter Cronin of Enterprise and moved to Clarkston, Wash., where they lived for over 50 years. She worked as a sales clerk for many years and took courses at the Lewiston State Normal School. She enjoyed gardening and propagating new varieties of Iris.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Billie Jeanne, and her sisters Ethel Cromwell, Frances Wilson and Georgia Powell. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Margaret and Harry Moore of Pasco, Wash., grandchildren Hank Moore of Seattle, Wash., Richard Moore of Kennewick, Wash., Shannon Higgins of Kennewick, Wash., Tom Moore and wife Kathy of Pasco, Wash. and Ruthi Berglund and husband Flint of Pasco, Wash., great-grandchildren Jorgi Martin and husband Tim of Spokane, Wash., Dawn Beaudreau and husband Frank of Beaverton, Dr. Chance Moore and wife Lynette of Mesa, Ariz., Jade Higgins of Kennewick, Wash., Crystal Bumgarner of Kennewick, Wash., Tyson Bumgarner, currently in Iraq, Tanner and McIntyre Berglund of Pasco, Wash., great-great grandchildren Anastasia, Mariah and Kelby Martin of Spokane, Wash., Jake Beaudreau of Beaverton, Hayden Moore of Mesa, Ariz., and Skye Gonzalez of Kennewick, Wash., nieces Sydney Macfarlane of Brightwood, Vicky Lindberg of Hillsboro, nephew Mark Cromwell of Portland, and daughters-in-law Sonya Moore of West Richland, Wash. and Valerie Edwards of Renton, Wash.
Rosary will be recited Sept. 29 at 6:15 p.m. at the Tri-Cities Retirement Inn in Pasco, Wash.
