The next occupant of this house was Andrew Jackson Gray, who married Nancy B. Dodge, daughter of Capt. Merrill Dodge, July, 1852. She was born April 6, 1831; he was born May 28, 1828. Their children were:

1. Albert Gray, born May 22, 1855; died May 18, 1863.
2. Alice Judson Gray, born March 13, 1857.
3. Annie Merrill Gray, born Oct. 6, 1867.
4. Herbert Brooks Gray, born Dec. 8, 1871.

At this house died Andrew Gray, father of Andrew Jackson Gray, Dec. 20, 1863, aged eighty-seven or eighty-eight years.
