Wilma Erlene “Billie” Browne Barnes, 76, died March 16, 2007.
There will be a celebration of her life at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 28, at the Calvary Baptist Church, Third and Broadway streets. After the service, those attending will meet outside the church to give her a “fond farewell” together. There will be a brunch afterward.
Her graveside service will be at Rupert, Idaho, on July 6 where she will be buried with her father.
She was preceded in death by her brother, William Jay Browne; and her sister, Betty Ruth Browne Ferrin.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Zane Dale Barnes; sons, Terry Zane Barnes of Boise, Teddy Dale Barnes of Quartz Hill, Calif., and Tony Jay Bill Barnes of Ontario; a daughter, Tamara Sue Barnes Uriarte of Baker City; a brother, Gerald Browne of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.; a sister, Lena Browne Haxby of Buhl, Idaho; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, including 2-month-old great-granddaughter, Heather Ann McCauley of Boise.
