Debra Faye Goss, 47, of La Grande, died Saturday, Oct. 5, 2002, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Walla Walla, Wash.

Her funeral was at 1 p.m. Thursday at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church in La Grande, 1002 L Ave. The Rev. Hank Albrecht officiated.

Committal and interment was at the Summerville Cemetery.

Visitations were Wednesday until 7 p.m. and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Daniels Chapel of the Valley, 1502 Seventh St., in La Grande.

Deb was born June 18, 1955, to Harvey C. Bud and Ruthella “Ruthie” Phelps Crim in Baker. She attended schools in Baker until the family moved to La Grande. She graduated from La Grande High School with the class of 1973.

On Aug. 2, 1975, she married Milo Goss at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church in La Grande. Together they owned and operated B&K Auto Salvage.

Deb enjoyed spending time with her family and dearly loved their cabin. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed gardening and hunting.

She was a member of the La Grande Country Club where she served on the Ladies Board for several years. She was in charge of the Junior Golf Program for several years and was instrumental in bringing the High School Golf Program to its current level of operation. She was also a member of The Nature Conservancy.

Survivors include her husband, Milo Goss of La Grande; son and daughter-in-law, M.J. and Becky Goss of Boise; parents, Bud and Ruthie Crim of Baker City; sister and brother-in-law, LouAnn and Phil Charbonnier of Taylorsville, Calif.; brother and sister-in-law, Clay and Theresa Crim of Neenah, Wis.; father-in-law, Bill Goss of La Grande; brother-in-law and his wife, Mark and Cally Goss of La Grande; sisters-in-law and their husbands, Suzie and Lantz Hughes of La Grande and Garnet Caleli of Boston; and other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Donna Goss.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Donna Goss Memorial Fund in care of Daniels Chapel of the Valley, 1502 Seventh St., La Grande, OR 97850.
