Eva Long Warren Spent Full Life As A Teacher; Died March 22
Eva R. Warren 77, Redding CA., former Muddy Creek resident, died Sunday, March 22, 1981, at Mercy Medical Center, Redding. Funeral service for Mrs. Warren will be conducted at 10:00 am Thursday, today, at Gray’s West and Co. Pioneer Chapel. Rev. Frank Wiens, will officiate and interment follows in the family plot at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Mrs. Warren was born Oct. 13, 1903 at Muddy Creek, the daughter of John and Daisy Long. She attended school in Telocaset.
She then moved to CA., and graduated from Chico College in Redding. She then taught in Redding for over twenty years.
Upon her retirement, she did extensive traveling.
Survivors include her two sons and daughters-in-law, Lyle and Gerry Woodell of Hayward, CA., and Larry and Yvonne Woodell of Burns; two sisters, Elsie Vandecar of Durkee and Velma Cloud of Baker; three granddaughters, two grandsons, two nieces, one nephew and may friends.
The family has suggested that friends who wish may contribute to the charity of their choice in her memory. This may be done at Gray’s West and Co.
