Findley, Clarence – Obituary

Funeral services for Clarence Findley will be conducted tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. at McDonald’s Chapel. Burial will be in the Redding Cemetery. Findley died in a Redding hospital Monday [October 21, 1957] after a long illness. He was born in Napa, Aug. 25, 1872 and he lived in Shasta County all of his adult life. He was a retired carpenter. He leaves a brother, Marvin of Orland, and a sister, Mrs. Beulah Hendrix of Sacramento. Contributed by: Shelli Steedman

Baker City, Oregon Gladys Davidson, 89, of Baker City, died Oct. 13, 2004, at St. Elizabeth Health Care Center. There will be no service. Burial will be at Lawncrest Memorial Park in Redding, Calif. Halfway, Oregon Kathleen D. Revell, 62, of Halfway, died March 28, 2003, at Baker City of kidney failure after a severe illness and a long battle with multiple sclerosis. Her funeral was Tuesday at St. Therese Catholic Church in Halfway. Interment was at Pine Haven Cemetery in Halfway. Kathleen was born on March 13, 1941, at Redding, Calif., the daughter of John and Catherine Revell. She grew up at Shafter, Calif. La Grande, Oregon Wilson Jack Stone, 93, of La Grande, died Feb. 1. A service will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church. Wilson was born Nov. 24, 1913, to Benjamin and Byrdie Stone in Paris, Texas. He was one of 10 children and had a twin brother, Nolan, who preceded him in death.
