Granite, Grant County, Oregon Margaret Esther Ihrig, 68, died Jan. 27, 2006, at her home in Granite. Her funeral was today at the McEwen Bible Fellowship Church. Interment was at the Granite Cemetery. Pastor Mark Norenberg officiated. The service was under the auspices of the Esther Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star. Mrs. Velva Bean, 63, died Sunday [March 9, 1975] at her home at Haner Park on the Deschutes River near Wickiup Dam. She and her husband, Louis A. Bean, who survives, moved there eight years ago from Madras. The funeral will be held tomorrow at 10 a.m. at the Madras Evergreen Chapel. Mrs. Bean was born March 2, 1912, at Bakersfield, Calif.
