Entered into rest April 7, 1998 in Spokane, WA, her home for the past 31 years. She is survived by her son, Leith D. Hagen of Coeur d’Alene, ID; her daughter, Vonnie Hagen Dynes of Spokane; grandchildren, Angela G. Garner of Spokane, Ken McLennan of Vancouver, BC, Chad C. Hagen of Seattle, Joel D. McLennan of Asia and Micah J. McCandless of Spokane; great granddaughters, Madison D. Garner and Sedonia G. Garner both of Spokane, numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence C. Hagen. [First married to Arthur Poland]
Mrs. Hagen was born in Hatton, WA, August 30, 1905. She graduated from Whitworth College and was a public school teacher for many years in the Spokane area. She was a member of Rebecca Lodge and the Association of Wheat Growers. Mrs. Hagen was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 14, 1998 at 11:00 a.m. at Sunset Chapel, Fairmount Memorial Park with interment to follow at Greenwood Memorial Terrace. Friends may pay their respects Sunday, Noon to 6:00 p.m., Monday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, 508 N. Government Way, Spokane.
