Cody A. Reagan, 97, died Sept. 15, 2009, at his home. His graveside funeral was today at Mount Hope Cemetery. Pastor Mel Harris of the First Lutheran Church officiated. Cody was born on July 15, 1912, at Spokane, Wash., to Louis and Selma Stenberg Reagan. His family moved to Baker City when he was a young child. He worked in the shipyards during the World War II. Robert Cass “Bob” Weber, 56, of Baker City, died Sept. 13, 2009, at St. Alphonsus Hospital in Boise after a sudden illness. John Roberton “Jack” Thomson, 76, of Baker City, died Sept. 11, 2009, at Idlewood Manor. His memorial service will be scheduled later. Jack was born on April 1, 1933, at Oakland, Calif., to John Sr. and Constance McMannis Thomson. Jack attended Oakland High School, graduating in 1951. He served in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1954 in the Army Signal Corps as a corporal. Jack worked for Qwest as a lineman until his retirement in 1989. Lewis “Dude” Morin, 80, of Woodburn, died Aug. 29, 2009, at Woodburn. His memorial will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Woodburn. Lewis was born on Feb. 1, 1929, at Hagerman, Idaho, to George and Dottie Morin. He and his wife, Eleanor, were owner/operators of Woodburn Auction for 50 years.
