Guasas Tribe
The Guasas Indians were a tribe noted in 18th-century Spanish reports in Texas as formidable adversaries of the Comanche. Renowned for their impressive stature and equestrian skills, they were said to be the only group capable of overcoming the Comanche. While many accounts about them are likely exaggerated, they are believed to represent a real tribe, possibly linked to those known for building earth lodges, such as the Osage, Kansa, or Pawnee.
