Chaquantie Indians. A tribe in 1700, described by Bienville 1 on Indians information, as living on Red River of Louisiana, four days’ travel above the Kadohadacho, which would place them apparently in the north east corner of Texas. They have not been identified, but may have been of Caddo affinity and allegiance.
