Rhoda Minerva Walls was born in Raleigh County, West Virginia, Nov. 13, 1865. She departed this life 7:30 a. m. Feb. 8, 1931, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. W. Henderson, at the age of 65 years 2 months and 26 days. She was united in marriage to J. J. Trump Feb. 2, 1888. He preceded her in death Dec. 13, 1900. Mary Susan (Susie) Walls, died at the age of 89, January 3, 1981, at the Woodland Convalescent Center in Woodland, Washington. Born in Bolt, West Virginia, October 22, 1891, she was the daughter of William Thomas and Mary Frances (Cook) Clemens. She came to Wallowa County from West Virginia in 1907 and in 1914 married Russell E. Walls in Wallowa. He died in 1970.
