Varga

Hugo Eugene Varga, born on June 16, 1885, in Kassa, Hungary, was a prominent lawyer who graduated with honors from the Royal Hungarian University and the University of Illinois. Admitted to the Illinois and Ohio bars, he practiced law in Cleveland from 1911 and served as attorney for the Austro-Hungarian Consulate. Varga was active in Progressive politics and held various roles in legal and social organizations, contributing to multiple publications. He was a noted figure in both the Hungarian and American academic communities.
