Biographical Sketch of Thomas Turnbull

Thomas Turnbull, dealer in grain and farm machinery, was born in Green County Ohio., June 20th, 1841, was engaged in farming and stock raising there until 1874, when he came to Des Moines, Ia., and engaged in pork packing and curing with Fayette Meek; removed to Harrison County in Nov., 1876, and engaged in his present business. He owns a well-improved farm in Jefferson twp., of 120 acres. He was married June 25th, 1865, to Susan B. Thompson, in Greene County, Ohio. They have four sons and three daughters.
