Muster Roll of Captain Nathan Barker’s Company of Light Infantry in the Detachment of drafted Militia of Maine, called into actual service by the State, for the protection of its Northeastern Frontier, from the sixth day of March, 1839, the time of its rendezvous at Augusta Maine, to the twenty-sixth day of March, 1839, when discharged or mustered.

Jacob Edward Tuckerman, born on August 23, 1876, in Austinburg, Ohio, was a distinguished surgeon and medical educator. He studied at South New Lyme Institute, Cleveland Central High School, and Adelbert College, later earning his M.D. from Cleveland College. Tuckerman contributed significantly to the medical field through his work as a commissioner, vice president, and secretary-treasurer of various medical organizations. He also authored notable publications on medical issues and served as a director at Glenville Hospital, while enjoying figure ice skating in his leisure time.
