Togus

Theodore M. Togus, M.D., a well-known and skilful physician of Hookset, Merrimack County, was born in the Province of Quebec, April 21, 1853, son of Edward Togus. His grandfather, Joel Togus, who followed the trade of a carpenter in Quebec throughout his life, died at the age of sixty-four years. The father, also a native of Quebec, born in 1832, was a successful agriculturist there for many years. He married Miss Josephine Maynard, who was likewise born in Quebec; and they became the parents of eight children.
