Sigler, Lucius M.; jeweler; born, Trumbull County, O.; son of Gilbert and Lorinda Tyrell Sigler; educated, Oberlin College; married, Trumbull County, O., Alice L. Silliman; issue, one son, Gilbert L. Sigler; in February, 1874, began business in Cleveland, forming a partnership with Chas. E. Sumner in the wholesale jewelry business; in May, 1875, bought Mr. Summer’s interest, and continued the business under the name of L. M. Sigler, until January, 1878, when Urial R. Sigler, Allan J. – Obituary

Formerly of La Grande Allan J. Sigler, 89, of Baker City and formerly of La Grande, died Sept. 17 at St. Elizabeth Health Care Center. A graveside service will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Hope Cemetery in Baker City with Pastor David Eddy of Faith Center, La Grande, officiating. Viewing runs from 5 to 8 p.m. tonight at Gray’s West and Company. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery and there will be a reception at the family’s home.
