Services Held For Tony Sherod Wallowa, Oregon Funeral services were held at Albany November 21 for Tony L. Sherod, 74. He was reard in Wallowa County and formerly owned the Gerald Gelsinger place in middle valley. He had been bedfast for the past month. He leaves his wife, Laura Heskett Sherod, two sons, Vincent, of Blodgett, Ore. and Willie of Lebanon. His brother, Earl H. Sherod went down from here to attend the funeral. Wallowa, Wallowa County, Oregon Honor Memory Of Train Victim The Christian Church of Wallowa could not hold the many sorrowing friends who came Saturday afternoon, March 17, 1951 at 2:00 o’clock to pay their last tribute to Glenn D. Sherod, who was instantly killed Wednesday afternoon, March 14, 1951 at the Evans railroad crossing. Death came when the truck he was driving was struck by the Union Pacific freight train. Rev. O.W.
