Sherod, Glenn D. – Obituary

Glenn D. Sherod, a lifelong resident of Wallowa County, was tragically killed in a railroad accident on March 14, 1951. His memorial service took place on March 17 at the Christian Church, attended by many mourners. Sherod, born on March 17, 1891, was a dedicated rancher and is survived by his wife, Hilma Plass, two daughters, a grandson, and other family members. He was laid to rest in the Wallowa cemetery, with local community members serving as pallbearers.

Sherod, Tony – Obituary

Tony L. Sherod, aged 74, passed away on November 19, 1953, after being bedridden for a month. He was raised in Wallowa County and previously owned a property in Middle Valley. Funeral services were conducted on November 21 in Albany, attended by his wife, Laura Heskett Sherod, their two sons, Vincent and Willie, and his brother, Earl H. Sherod.
