Seekel

Geo. B. Seekel, dealer in lumber, grain and agricultural implements, was born in Taunton, Mass., in Sept., 1823; the most of his younger days were spent in Providence, R.I. In 1856 he moved to Madison, Wis., and engaged in the grain business; went south in 1864 and remained two years, after which he engaged in the lumber trade in Chicago; after two years he went to St. Paul, Minn., having the management and general agency of the Singer sewing machine.
