Biographical Sketch of William L. Rohbock
William L. Rohbock, born on June 7, 1873, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was the son of Henry and Mary Rohbock. Educated in local schools, he married Mary Newton Nuttall in 1901 and had three children. Rohbock’s career included various manufacturing roles, culminating in engineering positions with the Westinghouse Electric Manufacturing Company and the Pittsburgh Railroad Company. He served as assistant engineer for the Wabash Lines before becoming acting chief engineer of the W. L. E. R. R. in July 1912, and chief engineer by December of the same year. He was a member of the Cleveland Engineering Society.
