Biographical Sketch of Carl A. Radde

Carl A. Radde, born on February 12, 1876, in Cleveland, was an optometrist and entrepreneur who established a jewelry and optical business in 1899. He was an active community member, serving as president of the Cleveland Optometrical Society from 1912 to 1913 and directing the Bach Society. Radde was married to Amy A. Wilson, with whom he had a daughter, Dorothy. He was also involved in various fraternal organizations and the Cleveland Advertising Club.
