North Powder, Union County, Oregon North Powder Pioner Woman Dies, Aged 72 Funeral of Mrs. Elizabeth Nice to Be Held Monday; 4 Sons Survive Mrs. Elizabeth Nice, for more than 47 years a resident of the North Powder community, died at her home there yesterday after an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at St. Francis Cathedral here Monday at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Mount Hope cemetery. Elizabeth Simonis was born October 28, 1855 at Rosholt, Wisconsin. North Powder, Union County, Oregon Little Son Of Mr. And Mrs. William Nice Dies Winfield, the four-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. William Nice, died in a Baker hospital Wednesday night. Wolf Creek, Union County, Oregon Cynthia Faye Nice, 54, died Sept. 14, 2005, at St. Mary Hospital in Walla Walla, Wash., following a long illness.
