This survey of Wintergreen Cemetery, Port Gibson, Mississippi, was completed in 1956 by Mr. Gordon M. Wells and published by Joyce Bridges the same year. It contains the cemetery readings Mr. Wells was able to obtain at that date. It is highly likely that not all of the gravestones had survived up to that point, and it is even more likely that a large portion of interred individuals never had a gravestone.
Soon after World War 1 localities across the country wished to honor the men and women who had served the Nation from their locality. St. Charles County, Missouri, is one of these counties. This manuscript isn’t limited to just the men who fought overseas, it also includes the women who had participated via Red Cross and the men who had actively served in the various campaigns backing the War here at home.
This book is an index of Mennonite estates in Imperial Russia – the time period from 1813 to about 1920. It does not explain all the intricacies of the development of each of the estates; it does not decry or defend them. By this time it is a study of something which has disappeared almost a century ago. Some have decrepit buildings remaining, but of many estates there is now nothing left except open fields. Despite these circumstances it is hoped that this index can help people in the study of something which seems to be increasingly significant to many – a search for their roots.
The series contains original affidavits of registration that record personal information about each registrant, their photograph affixed to the majority of documents, and the registrants fingerprints. All of these are specific to Kansas, and most have the actual documents attached.
Anna Keller (nee Mueller), who passed away on November 18, 1927, was the wife of the late George Keller and mother to six children. She was the sister of the late Jacob Mueller and sister-in-law of John Keller. Her funeral was held on November 22, 1927, at Our Lady of Victory Church, followed by interment at Joseph Cemetery.

Herman F. Mueller, born in Germany in 1857, immigrated to the United States in 1866. Starting as a grocery clerk at fifteen, he progressed to owning a retail store and, over 43 years, transitioned to wholesale trade. As senior partner of the Mueller-Kuehn Company, he oversees operations in Racine and Kenosha, with annual sales reaching $600,000. Married in 1878, he and his wife Frederica have six children. An active community member, he supports municipal welfare and is involved in local governance.
