Enterprise, Wallowa County, Oregon Friends Mourn Everett McCubbin Memorial services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Bollman Chapel for William Everett McCubbin who passed away on Thursday, November 30, 1967 at the Wallowa Memorial hospital. Rev. Douglas T. Field officiated and Mrs. Gail Swart was organist. William La Fayette McCubbin, a well known ranchman of Wallowa county, where he has resided for more than twenty years, was born in Washington county, Oregon, on the 11th of January, 1869, and is a son of John B. and Martha J. McCubbin, W. L. – Obituary

The funeral service of W.L. McCubbin of near Joseph, formerly of Lostine, was held at the Lostine cemetery last Friday at noon, in charge of the I.O.O.F. of which he was a member. Mr. McCubbin had a severe attack of the Spanish influenza, which affected his mind, and he was taken to Pendleton for treatment, but he only lived four days. He died Wednesday morning, Nov. 13th.
