Enterprise, Oregon Barbara V. Lockwood, a resident of Redmond, Oregon, died March 25, 2007, of heart failure. She was 63. Mrs. Lockwood was born March 5, 1944, in Enterprise to Alonzo A. and Versie Puderbaugh Lockwood. She attended school in Joseph through her junior year when the family moved to Kennewick, Wash. Biography of Robert E. Lockwood

The editor and proprietor of the Weiser Signal was born in Kirbyville, Josephine county, Oregon, February 15, 1858, and is of English descent. His grandparents were William and Lucy (Lord) Lockwood, and his father was Robert Lockwood, Sr., a native of Australia, in which country he married Miss Clara Sophia Belknap.
