HUNGERFORD, Emma Emillia Todd7, (Marvin6, Daniel5, Daniel4, Daniel3, Samuel2, Christopher1) born Jan. 24, 1834, married, Dec. 28, 1852, Orville, son of Orville and Betsey (Stanley) Hungerford, who died about 1902. He compiled a chart of Mrs. Todd’s branch of the Todd family which was well done. He was a man of considerable means. She is now living in Watertown, N. Y. Child: I. Grace Covert, b. This short manuscript starts with Robert Mason, immigrant ancestor and founder of this branch of the Mason family in America, was born in England about 1590. In 1630 he came to America with Governor John Winthrop’s company, probably, as so many of the early Puritans came, in quest of religious freedom. Here he settled in Roxbury, Massachusetts, where his wife, her name unknown, later died in 1637. Added to some of those gravestone listings were familial relationships if known. In addition, they referenced an even earlier listing of a few of the cemeteries by William Eardley taken in 1901.
